Since I’ve started swimming with the power breather my paddle endurance has increased significantly. I can surf for much longer. Getting out the back has become much easier even in places with strong currents. Doing pull ups gave me the power to catch way more waves than before.

I always liked swimming, I practiced breaststroke for years as an endurance training but crawl had always been difficult for me ... until I started to use the power breather! Now I finally have the feeling that my swimming is impacting and improving my surfing. In the ocean, I can paddle much stronger, swim longer distances and stay in the water for hours! The hiit training with the power breather as Joe guided me, helped me to develop a faster pace of my strokes so I could actually catch more waves and be more responsive and faster on my take offs! The power breather allows me to focus way better on technique that I can use in surfing : paddle technique, maintaining an horizontal position and activating the core, developing a focused mind and breathing! It makes swimming much more exciting since I know I will soon put this in practice on my next surftrip.
